Containment Plan (Suspected or Confirmed Cases)

➢ In event that a camper or staff member begins showing COVID-19 symptoms, they will be
immediately removed from their cabin group for an evaluation at the Med Shed. All areas that
have been utilized by the symptomatic person’s group will be cleaned and sanitized.
➢ If determined necessary, the participant will be quarantined until a legal guardian can pick them
up and be tested for COVID-19. If rapid testing is available on site and the participant tests
negative for COVID-19, they may return to the program following 24 hours of being symptom
free without medicine.
➢ If the participant tests positive for COVID-19, Wakeshma staff will conduct contact tracing while
maintaining camper confidentiality. Camp will notify the families affected with the steps that
have been taken as well as the anticipated next steps.                                                                                                                                                    ➢ Campers who have to leave due to suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19 will  be refunded  100% prior to camp, 50% after check-in, 0% after Wednesday Dinner.
